Mary Anne Furlani, MS, CCC, SLP has been a speech language pathologist for over 30 years. She completed her training at the State University College of New York at Buffalo (BSC). She purchased the practice from Joseph DeRose in 2008, the Chair of the Communication Disorders Department at BSC. At the time, the practice served only speech and hearing clients, but in 2009 it was expanded to include Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Special Education Services as well as Service Coordination and Nutritional Services and Evaluations.
Mary Anne has worked with many children with various speech and language problems. She especially enjoys children with severe articulation problems, stuttering issues, selective mutism, and children with autism. In her spare time she loves to travel with her three wonderful children and her three active grandchildren. She is a docent for Explore Buffalo, and a scuba dive master.
